For one more time Wednesday, K-State will welcome the Fox Sports Net crew into Ahearn Field House for a big-time Big 12 Conference match up with the Texas A&M Aggies.

The matchup involves two teams with similar 18-7 records but very different conference records.

The Wildcats come in 10-5 in the league, while the Aggies are 7-7 in Big 12 matches.

K-State will get the opportunity to recover from a near upset of Nebraska on Saturday when the Wildcats took the first two games before falling 3-2. Texas A&M defeated Iowa State 3-1 Saturday at home.

Earlier this season the two teams faced off with the Wildcats coming out of the contest with a 3-1 victory. It was K-State's first win in College Station since 2003. K-State will be searching for its first home victory over the Aggies since 2005.

The overall series between the teams is close, with K-State just edging the Aggies with a 13-11 record.

The Wildcats have won six of the last 10 matches with Texas A&M.

The Wildcats' loss to Nebraska was their third home loss of the season, dropping their conference home record to 4-3 and 8-3 overall.

Despite the weekend loss to Nebraska, the Wildcats remained at No. 12 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 poll.

The Wildcats have been climbing in the polls despite a 6-4 record in their last 10 matches.

K-State is in third place in the Big 12 standings behind Nebraska and Texas, with Oklahoma sitting in the fourth spot tied with the Wildcats.

Angie Lastra was named the Big 12 defensive player of the week after last week's performances, which included a 32-dig outing against the Huskers.

Several Wildcats are on pace to finish in the K-State volleyball record books before the season ends, as Korobkova will join the programs' triple-triple club, which means she has triple digits in three of the following statistics: kills, digs, assists and blocks with one more block, and Stacey Spiegelberg and Kelsey Chipman are looking to move into the top 10 in separate categories.

The match will begin at 7 p.m. and can be seen on FSN or heard on KMAN 1350.
