Wildcats lead the Cowboys at halftime

Despite starting off the game 3-of-17 from the field, K-State has taken the 28-23 lead into the intermission in the second Big 12 semifinal matchup.

As was the case on Thursday night, senior forward Rodney McGruder is leading the Wildcats with seven points, as well as four rebound and three assists.

Neither team is shooting well from the three-point line, as the two teams have combined to hit 5-of-22.

The Cowboys are being lead by sophomore guard Marcus Smart, who has 12 points and four rebounds.

Oklahoma State got in foul trouble early, as junior guard Markell Brown and sophomore forward LeBryan Nash each picked up two fouls.

Even though the Cats are up by five, It is anybody’s game here in Kansas City.
