With Valentine’s Day only four days away, it’s about time to plan out how to make your feelings known to those you want to spend the day with. Some may get creative with their significant other’s gifts, through either material goods or physical attention. Another way to show you care, however, could be to surprise them with a creative pickup.
Though pickup lines aren’t necessarily the best way to find a significant other, especially at a bar, on the national day of love, a cheesy pickup line might be ideal.
Here are some that students especially might appreciate:
“Is your major interior decorating? Well, it should be because the room became beautiful when you walked in.”
“I’m not a photography major, but I can sure picture you and me together.”
“I was taught that happiness started with an ‘H.’ Now it starts with you.”
“Do you have a map? Because I’m getting lost in your eyes.”
“Can I have some directions? (Where?) To your heart.”
“You look so familiar … Did we have a class together? I could’ve sworn we had chemistry.”
“If you were words on a page, you would be fine print.”
“Life without you is like a broken pencil. Pointless.”
“I hope you know CPR, because you take my breath away.”
“If I had a nickel for every time I saw someone as beautiful as you, I would have 5 cents.”
“You must be a lightbulb, because you light up my life.”
“If beauty were time, you would be eternity.”
“I don’t know what’s prettiest: the water, the sky or your eyes.”
“You’re so beautiful, you made me forget my pickup line.”
Pickup lines may have a bad reputation as an ineffective way to find a date or significant other, but cheesy, over-the-top moves are almost a required part of Valentine’s Day. So try one out- you never know what might happen.
