10-27-10 Corrections

In the Oct. 25 issue of the Collegian, the article “K-State cyclists host 24-hour ride to raise money for ALS” contained a misspelled reference to Lou Gehrig’s disease. In the Oct. 26 issue of the Collegian, a photo caption accompanying the article “Stories of sexually assaulted students read aloud” contained a name misspelling. The correct spelling is “Ashley Eller.” The Collegian regrets these errors and will post the corrections online. Full story

There were two errors in the Sept. 14 Collegian. There was an error in the golf story on the Sports page. According to kstatesports.com, The golf tournament totals on day one were UTSA, 294 (+6); K-State, 299 (+11); Kansas, 300 (+12). Full story

There was an error on Page One of the Monday, Sept. 7 Collegian. The banquet held for the journalism and mass communications centennial took place on Friday, Sept. 3, not Saturday, Sept. 4. Full story

9-3-10 Correction

Due to a Collegian error, a Sept. 2 article incorrectly listed SafeRide's hours as 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. The correct hours are 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. The Collegian regrets this error, and the correction has also been posted online. Full story

Correction 9-2-10

Due to incorrect information provided by the Saline County Sheriff's Office, one charge against Dustin L. Ringle was incorrect in a Wednesday story. Among the charges against Ringle in the Sunday morning crash north of Salina that killed Salinan Meghan C. Full story
