It's been just over a week, and I am already wondering why I agreed to this. I mentioned in my previous update that I have always had a job that prevented me from participating in No-Shave-November and suddenly that seems like a blessing in disguise. Now that I am going through the experience myself (well, at least part of it), I can rightfully say this yearly tradition is more trouble than it's worth, especially for someone who has never grown a beard before.

I'm starting to learn not every man can grow hair evenly across his face and, unfortunately, it's starting to look like I'm not one of the lucky few who can. I have a feeling I might start to get some strange looks from the people of campus. Oh, and my family might be in for a rude awakening when I head home for Thanksgiving.

I guess we will see how it pans out.
