K-State football player Blair Irvin Jr., 26, was arrested Saturday afternoon at his Manhattan apartment at 1615 Denison Ave., Apt. I-119, after allegedly battering a woman and damaging her laptop computer.

Irvin became involved in “a confrontation with [the woman] and it turned physical,” said Riley County Police Department Lt. Kurt Moldrup. The victim did not sustain injuries that required immediate medical treatment.

Irvin was charged with battery and criminal damage to property before being released on $1,500 bond. Damage to the laptop is estimated at $1,200.

There are no suspects at this time. The loss is estimated at $1,100 for the clothing, with an additional $100 for the vibrators.

Well Dr. Phil, let me give you a little piece of my mind on this whole situation. I feel TERRIBLE for the wife in this ordeal. She has got to be going through SUCH a rough time. I mean, knowing your husband is cheating on you for six months and you are STILL with him. WOW, that is just horrible. I FEEL FOR YA GIRL. She obviously knew this whole thing wasn't going to turn out good either considering there were issues way before all this stuff happened. There is something wrong with someone if they continue to let someone cheat and run all over them, then be the FIRST to bail him out of jail. What a smart person. She must like the drama too to keep it all going.

I'm confused about the "battery" thing. Did he like steal the battery, or damage it, or what?

Whitney, thank you for being such a strong woman in this difficult time. It's people like you that give others hope, like those young children you work with at the KSU Center for Child Development. You are such a beacon of light in a dark time...thank you for being not only a role model, but also a pioneer. Not any employee of a Child Development Center would knowingly enter a relationship with a married man and father. You are well on your way to succeeding in this rat race we call life. Here's to you.......

I do not condone these actions. Any man should never lay a hand on a computer. I had eggs with my toast this mornining but will be recruiting later via the twitter bug. The team I have now will compete with Baylor for the lower tier of the MAC league. Where is Eddie Nealy when we need him. My toothpaste is acrylic....

I would like to clear things up a little. Say what you want about Blair and I's age, that's fine. But do know that I am an adult and can make my own decisions on who I choose to talk to. He's married, yes. This is something that he chose to go through with and I still leave full responsibility on him for his actions and lies. Do not get me wrong, even after everything has happened, I will still stick up for him and tell the world that he is a good person. I wouldn't have chosen to keep talking to him if I didn't firmly believe this. Blair is right - he did not touch me the morning everything went down, nor has he EVER touched me in a violent way. I realize this article portrayed him to have "battered" me and this is a lie. I'm sure I'll be writing more when "Dr. Phil" speaks her mind a little more.

Doesn't anyone find the girl wrong in this situation.... She obviuosly knew he was married, with children, so she couldn't expect anything good to come out of the situation, so she got what she deserved. And Carol D. by the way your talking who wouldnt' believe you threatened him, and if your daughter is dumb enough to let someone use her, you need to be sitting down having a talk with her instead of wasting time commenting on this article.

It's not that he can't find someone his own age, he is still married and dating several women and just had another baby three weeks ago. Blair hangs around with women way younger than himself so that he can use them for their money.....there's proof of that !

What's the world coming too?? Can't a 26 year old man (or maybe boy) find someone closer to his own age?

Blair is a great guy and a very good friend of mine. Things happen that sometimes we cannot explain. I hope people don't change the way they feel about him because of this incident. Again, he's a stand-up guy and a tremendous athlete. People shouldn't judge him for the false accusation, rather continue to focus on what he's done on the field for the Wildcats.
