The Fort Riley police station received a call voicing concerns about a soldier Wednesday, around 3 p.m., according to a press release from Fort Riley. The police initiated a search and found the soldier unresponsive in a vehicle located on a tank trail behind the Commissary, according to the report.

An ambulance was called to the scene and the soldier was transported to IACH where he was pronounced dead around 4 p.m., according to the report. The circumstances surrounding his death are being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Division and the Fort Riley Police, according to the press release.
