All episodes Listen

If you have been receiving e-mails from the IT help desk or the Security Department and it asks for your user name and password, do not reply. The spear phishing scam is using subject lines like "EMAIL SUPPORT" or "MAIL SYSTEM UPGRADE" in an attempt to steal user's E-ID's and passwords to login to our webmail system and use it to send spam. Over the past year, more than 130 people at Kansas State University have been affected by this scam.
