A rape was reported in the northwest part of Manhattan Saturday, according to the Riley County Police Department.
The suspect was known to the victim, RCPD Lt. Hank Nelson said.
Native American doll, electronics stolen
In another RCPD report, an unknown suspect entered a Manhattan house and allegedly stole $1,960 in miscellaneous items Wednesday.
Maria Rippstien, 33, of 304 Highland Pointe Drive, was in the home at the time of the reported aggravated burglary.
Native American porcelain dolls, a Toshiba laptop computer and a Sony digital camera were stolen from the home.
The suspect was unknown at the time of print, Nelson said.
