The K-State Proud campaign has collected $94,030 since the campaign’s kickoff, as announced at the K-State vs. Missouri basketball game Saturday.
“It is a midway point to our goal,” said Ryan Wilkerson, senior in finance and Student Foundation vice president of students. “I am confident we will be reaching our goal of $115,000 by the end of the campaign.”
The yealong campaign is designed to give students opportunities to help other students pay for school, according to the organization’s Web site. All donations go toward Student Opportunity Awards.
The group accepted donations in exchange for T-shirts students wore to the game. K-State Proud will continue with its fundraising activities for the second half of the year.
