After being the defensive leader for the K-State Wildcats for the last two years, senior linebacker Arthur Brown will continue his football career as a member of the defending super bowl champion Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens selected Brown in the second round as the No. 56 overall pick.
Brown played his first two seasons at Miami, before coming back to Manhattan to finish off his career.
In his two seasons, Brown amassed 201 tackles, (111 solo) while being the captain of a stout Wildcats defense.
Brown should be an immediate impact player for the Ravens. With a spot open at middle-linebacker with the retirement of future hall-of-famer Ray Lewis, Brown has an opportunity to be a starting middle linebacker on a team that should be contending for another playoff berth.
