The sixth biggest crowd ever to fill Bill Snyder Family Stadium turned out for a Wildcat victory under perfect weather conditions. It was a beautiful fall day to watch the Wildcats defeat the University of Massachusetts Minutemen 37-7. Halftime featured the Pride of Wildcat Land joined by regional high school and junior high bands as they performed classic hits such as the Wabash Cannonball.
John Hubert and the K-State rushing attack combined for 329 yards and Kip Daily snatched two interceptions as the Wildcats made it 2-1 on the season.
