The Baylor Bears, who came into Manhattan boasting the nation’s most prolific offense, beat the K-State Wildcats 35-25 on Saturday afternoon.
The win for the Bears improved their record to a perfect 5-0 on the year, while K-State fell to 2-4 on the year with its third consecutive loss.
Bill Snyder continued to employ the two-quarterback system of starter Jake Waters and Daniel Sams. Both looked impressive on the day but ultimately couldn’t do enough to pull out the win.
The Wildcats get their second bye week of the year next week before hosting the West Virginia Mountaineers in two weeks.
