Along with the Wildcats victory over West Virginia, the victors of K-State’s 2013 homecoming competitions and the 2014 student ambassadors were announced Saturday during K-State’s homecoming game.
Chance Berndt and Ava Clark were presented with their commemorative rings by Aaron Otto, chair of the Alumni Association board of directors, as they were announced as the 2014 Student Ambassadors. Berndt and Clark will represent the student body at alumni and student events for one year and each receive a $1,500 scholarship, as well as clothing from Borck Bros.
Also announced were the winners of various homecoming competitions between student organizations, residence halls and greek chapters. Such competitions included spirit signs, sidewalk chalk, Pant the Chant, Paint the ‘Ville, Wildcat Request Live, Wildcat CAN, the Children’s Carnival, as well as parade floats and parade spirit.

1st place: Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Rho, Alpha Kappa Lambda, Alpha of Clovia
2nd place: Delta Delta Delta, Phi Delta Theta, Sigma Pi
3rd place: Pi Beta Phi, Phi Kappa Theta, Pi Kappa Alpha, Phi Beta Sigma
4th place: Kappa Kappa Gamma, Beta Sigma Psi, Delta Sigma Phi
5th place: Kappa Delta, Beta Theta Pi, Sigma Alpha Epsilon
