General manager Tracey Faulkner said they have paired up with Varney’s for some free giveaways and said there are other vendors from the area who are helping make this event a hit.

“We always try and exceed our guests expectations,” Tracey Faulkner said. “This event is no different.” Faulkner and his team have been working nonstop on this event since Monday in hopes to represent Kansas State University well. In preparing for this event Faulkner said that between contacting everybody in regards to permits, food ordering and sponsors that there was countless hours put into preparing for the pep rally.

Faulkner was really happy to have the support and backing of Aggie Business Association and the City of Manhattan on this event. Flint Hills Beverage and Crown Distributing have both been very willing to accommodate Buffalo Wild Wings in setting up for the pep rally.

On an average Saturday, Faulkner said that they normally have an average of 847 guests, on a game day approximately 1,200 guests and they are expecting well over 1,000 guests for the pep rally tomorrow. Faulkner had to up his orders on food to approximately 3,200 pounds of food.

Along with all the food there will be a giant blow up jersey for the community and fans to sign that will be sent to Tempe, AZ to show the football team and the fans support right from Manhattan, KS.

The support doesn’t end tomorrow with the support from Buffalo Wild Wings.

“We are a huge support to the band, we have teamed up with a local Buffalo Wild Wings in Tempe to provide one meal to the Pep Band that is headed to the bowl game,” Faulkner said.

Faulkner is hoping the community comes out and shows their support for the event tomorrow. They are projecting the turn out of people to be around what Super Bowl Sunday brings in. He suggests getting to Buffalo Wild Wings early to get your free wings.
