Saturday is senior day for the K-State women’s tennis team. The Wildcats will host their in-state rival, the No. 63 Kansas Jayhawks. While the Jayhawks lead the all-time series 39-12, K-State enters Saturday on a five-match winning streak against their in-state foes.

The greatest player in the history of K-State women’s tennis will play her final home match in a Wildcat uniform on Saturday. The lone senior, Petra Niedermayerova, will be honored before the match. She has been a two-time ITA All-American and a three-time All-Big 12 selection. Niedermayerova is the first singles player in program history to eclipse the 100-career singles wins mark. The Brno, Czech Republic native enters Saturday with a career record of 102-42.

The match is set to begin at noon on Saturday. If weather permits, the match will be held at Mike Goss Tennis Stadium.
