On March 27, 2015, nine contestants competed for UPC’s 12th season of K-State Idol in Forum Hall. Competitors were to perform their talents in front of an audience and a panel of judges who based scores off performer’s stage presence, vocal quality, personality, and connection with audience members.
Winners of the competition include Angela Livingston, junior in management, and Liz Hix, junior in speech education, both receiving third place; Deanna Richard, freshman in applied music, with second place; and Peter Esau, graduate in kinesiology, in first place.
