Riley County Police shut down Fort Riley Boulevard from 5th to Juliette Avenue this morning. Homeland Security, U.S. Postal Service investigators and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were assisted by RCPD in the execution of a federal search warrant in the area.
RCPD released a video on its YouTube page. John Ham, ATF public information officer, stated in the video that since the investigation is ongoing, he could not share much information. Ham said that there was no threat to public safety.
“Everybody that we were looking for is in custody without incident,” Ham said.
The identity of the suspect was not released. Ham said more information will be released through the courts next week.
