The U.S., Germany, the United Kingdom, China, France and Russia have finally reached a deal with Iran, something that they have been negotiating for almost two years, according to the CNN article entitled, “Landmark deal reached on Iran nuclear program.”
The deal allows for Iran to continue their atomic program for peaceful research, according to the CNN article, but according to a BBC article entitled “Iran nuclear deal: US conservatives condemn agreement,” Iran also has to give up 98 percent of its enriched uranium and give the International Atomic Energy Agency access to their program whenever it is deemed necessary.
While some are viewing it as wonderful diplomacy for President Obama, others, like the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called it a “stunning historic mistake.”
The Iran deal is a self-inflicted Pearl Harbor of American diplomacy, making the world far less safe. It's a day that will live in infamy.
