A recent salmonella outbreak in cucumbers was linked to Andrew & Williamson Fresh Produce. According to the New York Times, the outbreak has killed one person and made several others ill.

Now, one woman is suing Andrew & Williamson Fresh Produce for developing the disease. Some are calling this “cucumber lawsuit” extreme.

In fact, NBC found that a over half of the salmonella victims are young people.

People are using social media to warn those who are unaware.

The outbreak has been spread across 27 states so far. Kansas is one of the states on that list, according to the New York Times. If you have cucumbers in your home from the Andrew & Williamson Company, it is advised to return them to the grocery store.
