Suspect related to campus lockdown arrested

Riley County Police Department’s detective’s identified and arrested the gunman Sean Johnson, 20, of Manhattan, for contributing to child misconduct, two aggravated robberies, robbery, and theft.

RCPD said Johnson is the suspect who led the police on a chase through campus that resulted in campus lockdowns for both K-State and Manhattan Christian College during the early morning of Sept. 4. The lockdown began after several reports were filed with the police regarding an armed robbery and theft. Bail bond has been set to $150,000.

According to the Topeka Capital-Journal, investigation continues and “additional arrest are expected.”
