The idea of “sharing a coke” has been a new type of marketing for Coca-Cola with different names being printed on each bottle of Coke saying “Share a Coke with:” In part of a partnering plan, Twitter has created a new emoji for Coca-Cola’s Share a Coke campaign. According to the Marketing Land website, the financial details of the partnership have not yet been released.
This is a new step for Twitter to take and the Twitter world has reacted accordingly, some disappointed by their lack of inclusion in the Coca-Cola Share a Coke movement.
