BYU (No. 22) at Michigan
Though BYU is coming off their first loss of the season to UCLA, it doesn’t take away the significance of this upcoming game against Michigan.
On the road in the Big House is never an easy task. This matchup will show if BYU can regain the magic they showed in their first two games of the season.
Michigan, on the other hand, is coming off a victory against UNLV. This will be another test for a team that was tested earlier this season with their loss to Utah.
Oklahoma State (No. 24) at Texas
With everything that has gone on in Austin, Texas the last few weeks, this matchup could show what Texas is made of.
Saturday, Texas lost to Cal on a missed extra point that could have sent the game into overtime. Oklahoma State, however, is coming off a very impressive blowout victory against UTSA.
It is important to watch how Oklahoma State handles this game, because they are K-State’s opponent after the Wildcats’ bye week.
Utah (No. 18) at Oregon (No. 13)
Utah, who is coming off a road win against Fresno State, heads to Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon to take on the Oregon Ducks.
The Ducks are coming off a blowout win against Georgia State. Oregon should have starting quarterback Vernon Adams back, who sat out last game due to injury. This was a great matchup last season and I fully expect that it will not disappoint this year either.
UCLA (No. 9) at Arizona (No. 16)
Here is another big game in the Pac-12. While UCLA is coming off a late victory over BYU, Arizona is coming off a thrashing that they gave to Northern Arizona.
Though last season’s game was a low-scoring affair, UCLA walked away winning 17-7. Expect this year’s game to be more high scoring, because both teams have high powered offenses.
