On Oct. 2, 2015, the 29th annual OPUS Band Competition took place in Bosco Plaza where bands competed for cash prizes and a chance for people to get to know what they love to do.

Winners of the competition include Sky Orchid, receiving third place and $100; Chase Fortune, receiving second place and $250; and The Lads receiving first place and $500.
