K-State to face Arkansas in Liberty Bowl

It’s official. K-State Football will be heading to Memphis, Tennessee for the New Years!

The Wildcats have accepted a bid to play Arkansas in the Auto Zone Liberty Bowl at 2:20 pm on Jan. 2nd.

It is the Wildcats’ sixth straight bowl appearance and the second time playing in a bowl versus the Razorbacks with the last time coming in the 2011 Cotton Bowl.

Arkansas is coached by former K-State assistant coach Bret Bielema.

The Collegian broke the story first last night after the Wildcat’s 24-23 win over West Virginia.
