West Virginia (10) at Kansas (6)
West Virginia currently sits atop the Big 12 with an 8-2 conference record. Not many would have predicted this with teams like Kansas and Oklahoma in the conference. With a victory in Allen Fieldhouse, West Virginia can take claim to the title of best team in the conference. It will not be easy, though. Kansas rarely loses at home, and it’s hard to imagine that the Jayhawks would lose a big game like this.
Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. today on ESPN2.
Michigan State (8) at Purdue (18)
Now that senior guard Denzel Valentine is finally getting healthy again, Michigan State is finally starting to find some of the form it lost midway through the season. Valentine is the key for the Spartans’ success. This road trip won’t be easy for them, as they travel to West Lafayette, Indiana. Purdue is no slouch team — the Boilermakers are in the top 20 for a reason. To keep pace in the Big 10, they will need to score this upset over Michigan State.
Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. today on ESPN.
Iowa (4) at Indiana
Week after week, the Iowa Hawkeyes continue to prove they are legitimate. It is early February so that can still change, but at this moment, Iowa is a very good top five team. The Hawkeyes will not have an easy test this week, as they travel to Bloomington, Indiana, to face the Indiana Hoosiers.
Indiana has been fairly consistent this year. Not consistently ranked, but the Hoosiers do sport a nice 19-4 record coming into this showdown. Crazy things have happened in Assembly Hall before — I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the case this week.

Kansas (6) at Oklahoma (3)
Here it is. The matchup that everyone has been waiting for since the triple-overtime thriller that began conference play. The Sooners will host College GameDay and the Kansas Jayhawks, who also have a huge game against West Virginia this week. If Kansas can win both of these games, they are probably going to win the Big 12. The Sooners, however, will be the favorite to win the conference if they can win at home against Kansas. I am sure this matchup will be just as exciting the second time around.
Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday on ESPN.
