Despite 20 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks from senior forward Justin Edwards, the Wildcats again found themselves unable to score when it mattered and finish the game, as they fell to the No. 25 Texas Longhorns by one point and a score of 70-71 Feb. 22, 2016, inside Bramlage Coliseum. The Longhorns traded points with the Wildcats in the final minutes to keep the ‘Cats just at arm’s length, and in the final seconds of the game freshman forward Dean Wade missed the jumper that would have given the ‘Cats a win over a top 25-ranked opponent.
