Students cast their votes for the student body president and vice-president primary Feb. 23-24. With over 1,900 votes tallied, Jessica Van Ranken and Trenton Kennedy topped the primary, capturing 72.85 percent of the total votes. In second place were Robert Sharp and Sam Hughes, with 13.79 percent.

The primary determines which two pairs of candidates will face off for the general election. Despite a last minute write-in campaign by Michael Emley and Linda Bilberry that featured social media endorsements from K-State athletes, the pair came in third, garnering 9.77 percent of the vote.

The general election will be held March 1-2 and students can vote online from their K-State student accounts.
