The Men’s Basketball team sent their seniors out in style with a 79-54 victory over Big 12 bottom-dweller TCU on Senior Night on March 2, 2016, inside Bramlage Coliseum. The Wildcats found their offensive stride, shooting 76 percent of field goals and making six of nine 3-pointers in the first half. They did not miss a shot until 10 minutes into the game. Freshman guard Barry Brown led the Wildcats in points, contributing 15 entirely from 3-pointers.
The Major League Baseball Commissioner’s Trophy, presented to the Kansas City Royals last fall after they won their first World Series in 30 years, also made an appearance in the first half of the game.
