Riley County Republicans came and went from Manhattan High School the morning and afternoon of Mar. 5, 2016 to vote indirectly for the candidate the Republican Party should nominate for President of the United States. By voting for a particular candidate, voters determined how many party delegates the State of Kansas will assign to each candidate at the Republican Party’s national convention come summer. Ted Cruz won both Riley County and the State of Kansas, and will receive 24 of Kansas’ 40 delegates.
