Retired Air Force General Richard B. Myers has been appointed as interim K-State president, as announced by the Kansas Board of Regents Thursday morning.
Myers is a graduate of K-State, earning a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering in 1965. Myers is also the chairman of the KSU Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
Myers will make a statement and answer questions at a press conference on April 20, according to the Kansas Board of Regents.
