Zac Burton, owner of Fieldhouse Development in Manhattan and former K-State Football player, was arrested Tuesday evening, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Barry Wilkerson, Riley County attorney, said to the Mercury, Burton, 38, faces four charges of unlawful sexual relations with a female student at Riley County High School. Burton was an assistant boy’s basketball coach at the school.
Burton was arrested at about 5 p.m. at the Riley County Police Department after turning himself in, Brad Schoen, Riley County Police Department director, said to the Manhattan Mercury.
Burton’s bond was posted at $50,000.
Burton’s business, Fieldhouse Development, has built apartments and housing developments near Grand Mere Parkway and Colbert Hills Golf Course in west Manhattan.
