A male worker was injured at the Seaton Hall construction site Wednesday just before 11 a.m. according to K-State’s Division of Communications and Marketing.

According to a press release, the worker had sustained injuries after falling at the Seaton Hall construction site.

Cindy Hollingsworth, news and communication director, said the condition of the worker is currently unknown.

Hollingsworth said construction accidents on campus have been very few.

“I know there was an accident in the construction of Vanier,” Hollingsworth said. “But I think this is the first accident that’s been at the Seaton Hall site.”

The worker was transported to Via Christi Hospital for his injuries. The accident is currently under investigation.
