K-State Counseling Services and the Purple Power Animal Welfare Society hosted their “Pet Away Stress” event at the English/Counseling Services Building and the Quad on Oct. 12, 2016. Students were invited to enjoy the company of the dogs while relieving stress. Some of the dogs were up for adoption and found a new home with students. Students were given informational pamphlets on how to manage stress as well as services that Counseling Services provides.
