Sparks flew Tuesday on Twitter as two Manhattan institutions made their once secret admiration of each other not-so-secret.

Kansas State’s Hale Library and the Manhattan Public Library possibly became an item after Hale tweeted at Manhattan Public Library on #DMYourCrushDay and the Manhattan Public Library replied.

Needless to say, they were smitten. Hale even complimented Manhattan Public Library on how it’s aged gracefully over its 116-year history.

Date plans were made including some dinner, crafts and chill.

We at the Collegian are thrilled about this new coupling and wish both Hale and the Manhattan Public Library lives full of happiness.
