Ms. Madi,
I want to take a moment to tell you how much I appreciated the sincere and refreshing article on racism you had in the Kansas State Collegian. Although I am a white American who professes Christianity, I find it to be useless to target people for who they are, where they came from or what they look like, even though I may not always agree with them. I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading your article and being reminded that there are still people who can take the harshness of opinionated people and expect others to do the same because that is the world we live in. There will always be someone in the world that doesn’t like you, and no one can change that. You have proven that although criticism and hate can be displayed by anyone of any race or gender, so can compassion and humility. Once again, thank you for the article.
Sincerely,
Alicia Maloney
