Arts in the Park: Aloft Circus Arts

Astronomy Viewing Night
July 14, 2017, 9 p.m. – 11 p.m. at the Flint Hills Discovery Center.
View the moon, Jupiter, Saturn and various stars and constellations through an 8-inch reflecting telescope and a 4-inch refracting telescope. Chris Sorensen, distinguished professor in physics, will assist in pointing out major stars and summer constellations.
Kaw Valley Junior Rodeo
July 15, 2017, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at Manhattan Town Center.
Children ages 3 to 12 from across the state are welcome to compete and display their rodeo skills at this event hosted by the Kaw Valley Rodeo Association.
Build Your Own Robot
July 18, 2017, 2:30 p.m. at the Manhattan Public Library.
This event allows visitors to explore the world of robotics through building one’s own robot out of everyday items.
Kansas Territory Beer Tasting
July 18, 2017, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. at Arrow Coffee Co.
Patrons 21 years of age and older can sample eight different varieties of Kansas Territory beer and learn about state-of-the-art brewing techniques at this event.
