This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Chisholm Trail. For nearly six months, Hale Library has been sharing the history of the Chisholm Trail. On display are many interesting items from the era, including documents, pictures, maps and attire.
Cowboy Mike Searles presented about the importance of this legacy. He spoke about black cowboys and the importance of remembering their history correctly.
