While the Wildcats were facing off against the Baylor Bears on Sept. 30, an unexpected event took place in the student section. When the Kansas State marching band started playing the Wabash Cannonball the student section bursted into a vulgar chant directed towards the University of Kansas. Coach Bill Snyder and band director Frank Tracz were not pleased with the actions of the student section.
