1. Texas Christian University (7-0)
The Horned Frogs rolled once again in a 43-0 route of the Kansas Jayhawks. This TCU team is in complete control of their own destiny and doesn’t look like it will be slowing down anytime soon. They face a stingy Iowa State team that has already knocked off Oklahoma this Saturday on the road in Iowa. TCU enters the weekend ranked number four in the nation.
2. Oklahoma (6-1)
Oklahoma pulled out another tough win in Manhattan this past weekend. Their Heisman hopeful quarterback continues to shine when it matters most. The Sooners are looking for a way to climb back into National Title contention sitting at number 10 in the country right now. They face a tough Texas Tech team in Norman, Oklahoma, this weekend.
3. Oklahoma State (6-1)
Don’t forget about the Cowboys. Since suffering their first loss to a great TCU team, Mason Rudolph and Oklahoma State has rattled off three straight wins. They are coming off an intense 13-10 win over Texas last weekend and are now sitting at number 11 in the country. They look to stay hot against West Virginia on Saturday.
4. Iowa State (5-2)
Iowa State is no fluke. The Cyclones jumped their way into the Top 25 for the first time this season and have a chance to win another big game against TCU on Saturday.
5. West Virginia (5-2)
The Mountaineers continue to stay relevant in the Big 12. They jumped to number 22 in the country and are getting prepped to play Oklahoma State on Saturday in what should be an offensive shootout.
6. Texas (3-4)
Texas has hung tough against every Big 12 team this season. The Longhorns suffered a heart-breaking loss to Oklahoma State this weekend and are looking to rebound on Saturday against a winless Baylor team.
7. Kansas State (3-4)
The Wildcats came so close to pulling the upset on the Oklahoma Sooners this past weekend. Kansas State played tough and proved they are not going to be an easy win for anyone this season. The Cats square up with state rival Kansas University in Lawrence this weekend in what should be an easy win.
8. Texas Tech (4-3)
Texas Tech didn’t have its best game against Iowa State last Saturday. The Red Raiders are looking for a statement win this weekend against Oklahoma.
9. Baylor (0-7)
Baylor continues to lose but showed improvement in a tough loss to a very good West Virginia team 38-36. The Bears look to get their first win against the Texas Longhorns this week.
10. Kansas (1-6)
Kansas
loses again. The Jayhawks were routed 43-0 against TCU and may as well have not
shown up for the game. The Kansas State Wildcats will play them in Lawrence this weekend.
