Channel 8: K-State attempts to solve low diversity enrollment numbers

The black student enrollment has continued to go down since 2013, and K-State has decided to take action to fix this issue.

With not getting much results from KSU Unite, the Black Student Union decided to host their 5th annual leadership conference at the Union Ballroom. High schools from all over Kansas came to this conference to empower their students, and to encourage them to come to K-State.

According to the BSU website, the theme was “BLACKNESS. EMBRACE IT.”
