K-State football player arrested for unpaid parking tickets

Bronson Massie, a sophomore defensive end with the K-State football team, was arrested after a warrant was put out for his arrest on four counts of failure to appear August 23rd at 12:15 am by the Riley County Police. He was arrested at the 1800 block of College Avenue. He was not confined after paying a bond of $272.50. The cause of the incident was from unpaid parking tickets and traffic violations.

After reaching out to Kenny Lannou, the senior associate AD for communications and public relations for the athletic department, he said that “the matter will be handled internally with the coaching staff.”

While Massie’s standing with the team is unclear at the moment, he played in nine games last year including one start in the final home game of the season against Iowa State. He also had 10 tackles on the year.

The Collegian will update the story as more information is released.
