Noontime Yoga

What: Free yoga program sponsored by the Nonviolence Studies & Programs and the UFM Community Learning Center.

When: Every weekday from 12:05 to 12:50 p.m.

College of Agriculture Watermelon Feed

What: An event created by the College of Agriculture Council. Stop by to enjoy free watermelon, Call Hall ice cream and monster cookies from the Bakery Science Club.

When: 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Where: The lawn outside of Weber Hall

Wednesday

Self-defense class

What: Free basic self-defense lessons with a K-State ID.

When: 5:30 to 7 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Where: The small gym at Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex, 1831 Olympic Drive

Thursday

Purple Power Play featuring Big Time Grain Company

What: A celebration of the upcoming Kansas State Wildcats football season. This event features live music from 6 to 7:15 p.m., activities and more. For a detailed schedule and more information on the event, check out purplepowerplay.com.

When: 5 to 9 p.m.

Where: Larry Norvell Band Shell, Manhattan City Park, Poyntz Avenue and 11th Street.

Free board game night

What: A free board game night hosted by Goblin Games.

Trivia night at Arrow Coffee Company

What: A free trivia night hosted by Arrow Coffee Company.

When: 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Rock’it Bowl

What: A night consisting of free food, bowling, billiards and karaoke. All activities are free with a K-State student ID.

When: 8 to 11 p.m.

Where: The Wabash Cannon Bowl on the lowest level of the K-State Student Union

Saturday

South Dakota Coyotes vs the Kansas State Wildcats

What: The first home football game of the K-State Wildcats football season.

When: 6:10 p.m.

Where: Bill Snyder Family Stadium, 2201 Kimball Avenue.
