My first week has been really interesting. It’s been fun. There’s definitely a lot to learn here, and I’m excited to get deeper into it. But there’s definitely a lot of resources, and so when you don’t know what you need, there’s people that can always help you.

Really exciting. There’s been lots to do, everyone’s been very nice. Very warm and accepting culture here. It’s been a great week so far.

— Rowan Jones, freshman in mass communications

My first week’s been kind of difficult. It’s just really hard to get used to campus life and kind of making my own schedule. Also, Canvas has been really, really hard to navigate. … But right now, everything is seeming to come together and I’m starting to enjoy it more, and I’m thinking as the year goes on I’ll start kind of getting used to it, doing more things and having a lot of fun.

My first week, I’ve had a lot of fun. I’m getting used to things a lot easier than I thought I would.
