It’s been a over month since harsh flooding came Manhattan on Labor Day. Many residents were forced to evacuate their homes and some lost their cars because of the high flood waters. The emergency management director of Riley County estimated that the flood caused around $20 million dollars in infrastructure damage alone. This does not include the approximately 300 cars ruined by water damage.
