Tessa is 4-year-old Labrador mix. She was a stray and has been up for adoption since Oct. 15. Tessa is a very loving and sweet dog, but she is timid with people. She has to warm up to someone before she shows any kind of personality.
She would be perfect for someone who can be patient and spend plenty of time with her. She is timid but not aggressive. Since Tessa was a stray, she may have had a bad experience with a previous owner or she may have not spent a bunch of time around people.
She’s not very active but does like to run around from time to time. She’s very mellow and would love to just lounge around. She would be fine as an apartment dog, but she does need to be housebroken.
She would probably do well with kids, but her owner should be watchful at first. Her inexperience with children and her timidness means she might need some extra attention.
Tessa is a kind and loving dog who would love to be put in a loving home.
