Dear Wildcats,

With the end of the semester and finals week in sight, we understand that it is a stressful time, and we wanted to take the time to remind you that Counseling Services has moved to Lafene Health Center in room 101.

You can make an appointment online to meet with a counselor regarding academic stress, career decision making, relationship problems and much more here: k-state.edu/counseling/student/appointment.

Also, look out for activities from the Counseling Center to help de-stress during finals week!

We recently got the chance to tour Hale Library, and we are excited for the progress already being made. There are bright new ideas for the future of the library, with student needs and interests at the heart of the renovation. As you begin thinking about finals, don’t forget that library services are available for all students at the K-State Student Union Help Desk.

The application for Student Governing Association judicial branch attorney general is now open and will close Friday at 5 p.m. at orgsync.com/83329/forms/340245.

The attorney general is the highest position of the judicial branch and holds many responsibilities like conducting hearings, receiving/disposing of complaints according to the judicial code, training the judicial branch members and advising students on the judicial policy and much more.

No experience is necessary, but you will need to be able to shadow the current Attorney General every Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the start of the Spring 2019 semester. Please email eadetiveaux@ksu.edu with any questions.

The Kansas State Engineering Student Council recently won an award for their Diversity and Inclusion Town Hall social event. We are looking forward to seeing more colleges host events like this on K-State’s campus and create more student-centered forums on a smaller and more personal scale.

This spring, we aim to partner with all colleges to coordinate forums like the ones held in the College of Engineering, College of Agriculture and College of Arts and Sciences in years prior.

Please don’t hesitate to email us with any ideas, questions or concerns, as we are always looking to help students in any way we can! Our emails are jkiehl@ksu.edu and lacyp@ksu.edu.

Stay tuned for the SGA newsletter coming out soon for information on all things SGA. Also, please follow us on Twitter and Instagram @KStateSBP_SBVP for more updates!

As always,

Go Cats!

Jordan Kiehl and Lacy Pitts

Student Body President and Vice President
