It will be a busy week for many Kansas State sports teams this week.

The women’s basketball team kicks off the week as they host Lamar University on Wednesday night inside Bramlage Coliseum.

The Wildcats are coming off Sunday’s 72-61 win over Vanderbilt in the Big 12 versus SEC challenge.

Lamar has had a good start to the season as they are 5-2 and 3-0 at home. They are coming off a six-point win over No. 17 Texas A&M last Thursday, so they will have momentum as they travel to K-State.

Tip-off between Lamar and K-State is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday night. The game can be watched on FCS Central or K-StateHD.TV and listened to via the K-State Sports Radio Network.

On Saturday, the Wildcats will travel to play the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The Trojans are just 2-5 on the season and lost their last five games.

Like Lamar, Little Rock already played Texas A&M this season but they suffered a 61-40 loss at the hands of the Aggies.

The matchup between K-State and Little Rock is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday, and can be heard on the K-State Sports Radio Network.

The K-State indoor track and field teams will have a home meet this weekend as they host the Carol Robinson Winter Invitational inside Ahearn Field House on Friday and Saturday. This will be the team’s first indoor meet of the season.

To conclude the week, the Wildcat men’s basketball team will travel south to Tulsa, Oklahoma to take on the Golden Hurricanes on Saturday.

They are looking to avenge a loss to Tulsa last year in Wichita, which turned out to be arguably their worse loss of the season.

Saturday’s game is set for a 3:30 p.m. tip-off and will stream on the CBS Sports Network and be broadcast on the K-State Sports Radio Network.
