Channel 8: 50th anniversary of Nichols Hall fire evokes vivid memories

K-State alum, Ed Klimek, was present at the fire of Nichols Hall and shared what he saw the day of the incident. For many students who gathered around the building to see the unfortunate event, some feared this was the end of Nichols. Despite the unrest, Nichols Hall still stands on campus as it has undergone remodeling. In addition to the building, one other thing remained through the tragedy: The Wabash Cannonball.
