Abraham, also known as Abe, is a 7-year-old pit bull terrier mix who has been in foster care for about four months. He was saved by Purple PAWS hours before being euthanized.
Even though Abe is older, he still has lots of energy to play and run around the yard. He is very sweet and loves playing with toys.

Abe will need a home with either a small dog to be introduced to slowly or a home with no dogs. He does not do well with high-energy dogs. He has not been tested with cats but does great with kids.
Abe is a fun-loving dog who just wants a home that will love him and he will return the love with kisses and cuddles.

If you would like to adopt Abe, fill out an application at www.purple-paws.org. The adoption fee for dogs is $200, which covers the cost of getting them fixed and updated on shots and preventatives.
Purple Power Animal Welfare Society is dedicated to helping save the lives of abused, neglected and homeless companion animals. They are a non-profit charity that mainly pulls dogs and cats from death row.
Future Purple PAWS events are on Dec. 15, Dec. 29 and Jan. 12. Adoption events are held at both PetSmart and Petco from 12 a.m. to 3 p.m.
